Why Good Grades Won’t Make You Rich

When you were growing up, you probably had your parents or family tell you that if you wanted to be successful, you had to make sure you got good grades in school. Those good grades would be the key to getting into a top school that would offer you the best education and ultimately a high-paying job.
While this advice may have been relevant years ago, more and more we see that those who stray from this traditional path are the ones who become rich while the educated live their whole lives in financial mediocrity and in this article, I will share with you why good grades won’t make you rich!
The reality is that school isn’t what it used to be. Back in the day, getting a college degree meant acquiring an affordable education that would offer you a very reasonable salary upon entering the workforce that would only grow over time.
However, times have changed. Now, students are taking on tens of thousands of dollars worth of debt with no assurance that their efforts will yield them a lucrative job or a job in general. What’s worse though, is the mindset that is adopted through the process of attending college.
In fact, this indoctrination is the catalyst of why going to school and striving for good grades leaves people in worse financial positions than they ever intended to be in and I think these detriments…
